“I was blessed with my second daughter, Brennan, on December 10, 2007. She came into this world as a developmentally healthy baby, and stayed that way for two weeks. Literally, overnight my healthy newborn transitioned into a fussy, sick baby. I was shocked when my pediatrician explained to me that Brennan had an ear infection. She was put on antibiotics and this day began a two-month long game of stomach pains, diarrhea, irritability, and other unpleasant side effects of the antibiotics.

While receiving antibiotics daily, Brennan developed three more ear infections and was diagnosed with acid reflux and prescribed Zantac. The Zantac did little to alleviate the constant gagging and congestion that she experienced; consequently, Brennan was prescribed something much stronger: Prevacid. Amidst this game of medication trial and error, Brennan was diagnosed with RSV and placed on albuteral breathing treatments. Two weeks after that diagnosis, Brennan tested positive for the FLU. Both of these illnesses were believed to be transmitted from the hospital.

I searched the phone book for something that might help Brennan, stumbled upon Chester Family Chiropractic Center and brought Brennan in a few days later. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of child patients Dr. Sandy treated. I also felt confidence in having Dr. Sandy treat Brennan because she is a mother and a grandmother, and she expresses her love, adoration and sincere concern for children in her mannerisms. Most of my worried and concerns were put to rest once I observed how gently Brennan would be adjusted.

Brennan had an ear infection on her first visit to see Dr. Sandy. She was adjusted three times that week and by Friday, without any antibiotics, the ear infection was undetectable by the pediatrician. Since that week, Brennan has not had ANY ear infections. In addition, she is no longer on any medications for her acid reflux. There are no words to describe the gratitude my husband, my family, and I feel. I met a woman the other day that just had tubes surgically inserted in her five-month-old daughter’s ears. I know that I would have reluctantly been that mother, had I not fount Dr. Sandy. I can rest at night knowing that my child is healthier without the use of dangerous drugs and/or surgical procedures. The care my family has received from Chester Family Chiropractic Center has been truly a blessing.”
